Major Stock Risers

Ft. Quinton Kitt, Ethan Hillsman, Christopher Kirkpatrick, Noah Mister, Jayden Riley, Travis Brown, Hayden Schroeder

Quinton Kitt - 6’5 SG - East Peoria ‘27

Kitt has high major upside. Kitt possesses an excellent frame and all-around ability on the court, making him an excellent 3-and-d option. The 6’5 guard is aggressive defensively and when slashing to the rim, poised as a ball handler, and consistent from behind the arc. Kitt's ability to shoot from varied ranges is far beyond his age, already displaying traits of a prototypical collegiate wing. As a freshman, Kitt was a major producer for East Peoria and looks to carry that on as a sophomore. Kitt has already received an offer from Illinois State, and Northwestern is showing interest in the young, guard prospect.

Ethan Hillsman - 6’7 W - Joliet West ‘26

Hillsman, an athletic 6’7 wing with several guard-like traits, will put the state on notice in the 2024-2025 season. Recently transferring to Joliet West, Hillsman will be one of the most impactful transfers in the state. Clinching an offer from Illinois State, Hillsman has already been labeled as a division one recruit.

Christopher Kirkpatrick - 6’3 PG - New Trier ‘26

Kirkpatrick is one of the state's most gifted scorers. With offers from, Toledo, Green Bay, New Orleans, Loyola (MD), UIC, Brown, and Loyola (Chicago), Kirkpatrick has established himself as a highly sought-after prospect in the 2026 class. Alongside Colby Smith (‘25) and Danny Houlihan (‘26), Kirkpatrick and New Trier will have some of the best guard play in the state and should make a deep run in the state playoffs once again.

Noah Mister - 6’2 PG - Mt. Carmel ‘26

Mister is one of the best guards in Illinois. After an excellent summer with the Illinois Wolves, Mister is primed for a stellar junior season. With elite speed and ball control, Mister is a gifted playmaker. Mister can get paint touches, create for teammates, and create space for himself with slick ball handling, pace, and body control. Led by Mister, expect the Mt. Carmel Caravan to make another deep run in the state playoffs.

Jayden Riley - 6’2 PG - Yorkville Christian ‘26

Riley, a thick-bodied, methodical, lead guard is an interesting prospect. Riley’s pace and ability to control the speed of the game are his most unique attributes. As a lead guard, Riley distributes well in the half-court and transition. High-level ball skills and IQ allow Riley to choose his spots, create space, find open shooters, and play-make for himself or his teammates. Riley’s ability to see the floor also stands out. Going into his junior year at Yorkville Christian, Riley is definitely a prospect for college programs to track.

Travis Brown - 6’1 PG - West Aurora ‘27

Brown, a shifty, playmaking guard, had an excellent spring and summer playing with the Illinois Wolves on the Under Armor circuit. As a sophomore, Brown will be the Blackhawk's lead guard, primary ball handler, and go-to guy in crunch time. After a full season on varsity, Brown should make another leap in his game.

Hayden Schroeder - 6’7 W - Wheaton Academy ‘27

Schroeder looks to be the best wing prospect in the class of 2027 in Illinois. Developing athleticism, Schroeder is on the trajectory to become a division one wing. After a solid freshman season, look for Schroeder to take on a more prolific role for the Warriors as a sophomore.
