Top Game:
Phillips vs. Metea Valley: This key match-up in pool play went down to the wire. The last three minutes of this game was an absolute bloodbath, aggressive defenses collided resulting in the most physical game I saw over the weekend. 2025 PG EJ Horton put on a show with a powerful poster dunk in the first half, followed by another dunk later in the second half. The Phillip's guard used his strength to his advantage, bullying his way into the lane getting to his floater and finishes. 2025 Jake Nosek put on a show as well. The 6'8 W put Metea Valley on his back throughout the whole second half. Nosek played both ends of the floor, blocking a shot or grabbing a rebound to then push the ball up the floor and score on the offensive end. Nosek truly did it all for Metea this game. His 6'8 frame allows for an easy release on his jump shot, allowing him to hit countless threes in the second half. To seal the deal at the buzzer, Phillips guard (14), hit a one dribble pull up three of of an in-bounds pass to win the game.
