PRO16 Finals
A lot of Illinois AAU programs impressed this weekend at their circuit's final session. Here is a list of Illinois programs that impressed at Peach Jam, UAA Finals, PRO16 Finals.
Peach Jam
Nike Meanstreets

Meanstreets represented the state in high fashion going 5-0 in pool play at Peach Jam with wins over New Heights Lightning, JL3 Elite, Canada Uplay, Team Final, and CP3. They advanced to the quarterfinals to face off with Dylan Harper and the New York Renaissance. Despite leading nearly the whole game, they fell 61-65.
6'10" C/F Morez Johnson posted significant stat lines throughout the whole tournament and led the tournament in rebounds, earning himself a Most-Valuable-Player mention.


UAA Finals
Breakaway

Breakaway put on a show this weekend, solidifying themselves as one of the top programs in the nation. They earned a huge win over the #8 team in the country, West Coast Elite, and advanced to the sweet sixteen. They went on to beat Illinois rival, and UA Rise call-up, Fundamental U, allowing themselves to advance to the elite eight. In the elite eight game they faced off with Middlesex Magic, yet despite their efforts, they fell short of the win.

Fundamental University

Fundamental U had an electric weekend at the UAA Finals. After going 9-0 in previous sessions, Fundamental U was called up from UA Rise to compete in the UAA Finals against all of the top teams in the UAA circuit. They did not disappoint. Fundamental U shocked opponents with their play, beating four UAA teams. One of those wins coming over Illinois rival, the fully sponsored Illinois Wolves. Fundamental U represented the UA Rise circuit well, proving that they can play with the best.
6'3" G Logan Feller hit a last second, one handed shot to defeat the Illinois Wolves 57-55.
16u also had a good showing, advancing to the final four of the UA Rise finals.

PRO16
Midwest Renegade

Midwest Renegade 17u, 16u, and 15u all had great showings in Houston for the PRO16 league finale. 16u advanced to the elite eight after a steal and buzzer beater finish in the sweet sixteen. 15u had the best showing of the three advancing to the championship game to play Nebraska Supreme.
